- Final Analysis Report (updated 8/26/09) - Whirlpool Center Opens in Perris
Efficiency was the motivator behind Whirlpool Corp.'s decision to move into a spec-built warehouse in Perris, according to a corporate spokesperson. The appliance manufacturer will move about 250 people from other locations in Southern California to a 1.7 million-square-foot building in Perris. Whirlpool expects the building to be fully staffed by mid-2008.

Photos that captured a place once dominated by farmland and potato fields are forever documented in a recently completed history book about Perris. After more than a year of collecting and sorting through old photos from the public and historical archives, the Perris Valley Historical and Museum Association unveiled its finished project: the hardbound book, "Perris: A Place to Remember."
