Perris Free Clean up Day!

Perris residents can dispose of unwanted items, lawn clippings, furniture, appliances and junky cars during a city-sponsored free clean up day on Saturday.

The city is teaming up with CR&R for Saturday’s big sweep.

Residents may bring their large and small trash items to the CR&R facility on Goetz Road and Ellis Avenue between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The city has made available flyers announcing the cleanup to Perris residents. Everyone must present the flyer and photo identification or proof of Perris residence to take advantage of the free disposal service.
The city also will tow away unwanted vehicles as part of the cleanup. Residents must contact Perris city workers at the CR&R yard or by telephoning 951-943-5003, ext. 496, to make arrangements for towing vehicles.

Items like paints, solvents, explosive materials, computers, televisions, tires and radioactive wastes will not be accepted.

Saturday’s event is being coordinated by the Department of Development Services Community Preservation Division and CR&R.
