Perris Speedway Tickets Available for Military Families

The City of Perris and Perris Auto Speedway are pleased to announce that 1,000 general admission tickets for the July 3 fireworks spectacular and sprint car show are available to March Air Reserve Base personnel, their dependents and other active-duty, reserve and retired military veterans.

The March promotion comes on top of a previous announcement by track promoter Don Kazarian that Perris residents also will be admitted free for the July 3 program.

The half-mile clay oval Perris Auto Speedway is one of the top dirt race tracks in the country and attracts talent from throughout the United States and overseas.

More than a dozen PAS racers have gone on to run NASCAR events and the Indy 500. NASCAR Sprint Cup competitor David Gilliland got his start at the Perris Auto Speedway and sprint car legends Rip Williams, Cory Kruseman, Richard Griffin, Steve Kinser and Ron Shuman all raced there. Current USAC stars Damion Gardner, Dave Darland, Tracy Hines, Levi Jones, Mike Spencer, David Cardey and Tony Jones have all raced in Perris.

“The Perris Auto Speedway is one of the great racing venues in America and I cannot think of a better place to spend a patriotic holiday like Independence Day,” said Perris City Councilman Mark Yarbrough, a PAS racer and sponsor.

“The lighting and sound systems are second to none. The fireworks display is spine-tingling and awe-inspiring. If you love America, you will love everything about this holiday show!”

The Perris Auto Speedway is located on Ramona Expressway three miles east of Interstate 215.
In addition to the July 3 military promotion, the speedway is offering the following discounts to current active duty and reserve troops, retired veterans and their families:

Military dependents 12 and under free for all dates throughout the remainder of the racing season.
