The City of Perris annual Breakfast with Bunny/Community Egg Hunt has been rescheduled from March 18 to April 8.
The event is one of the most popular in the City, routinely drawing more than 500 youngsters and their families to the City Hall Campus, 101 North D Street.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
“It’s really a well-attended event,” said Recreation Coordinator Rachel Pinedo. “People really enjoy meeting our bunny and having pictures taken with him. It’s a nice time for parents and their children.”
Other activities include a petting zoo, arts and crafts and breakfast. But for many kids the day’s major activity is searching for brightly wrapped and colored eggs. Volunteers and City staff cordon off areas and load them with real hard-boiled eggs and chocolate treasures for the little ones to find and take home. In addition, a breakfast is available for $6.50.
