The Kirkpatricks Market

Built in 1949 by John Kirkpatrick. Before moving into their new store they had a grocery and variety store next to the bank of Perris for many years. The grocery store was the first modern food market built in Perris.

The Kirkpatrick grocery store has always been an important part of Perris’s business history, offering fresh fruit and vegetables that were often locally grown. It was the one – stop shop of it’s time. Today in 2024 it’s still a community Grocery Store.
