COVID-19 Memorial

The City of Perris wanted to remember the lives that were lost and or effected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. On March 19, 2021 The City held a Procession for the lost community members’ families and friends. According to Riverside County of Public Health records the Pandemic claimed 176 lives in the City of Perris.

Not long after the Procession the City of Perris Councilmembers and the Mayor unveiled the COVID-19 Memorial Bench on the Council Chambers lawn area with a community Ceremony that included prayer, live music, and fresh flowers. The Mayor and City Councilmembers released doves to commemorate the lives lost to COVID-19 in the City of Perris. The City welcomes everyone to stop by the bench and reflect on the COVID-19 pandemic.
