The City of Perris has announced the relocation of the Animal Control Division from 1093 Harley Knox Boulevard to the new location of 227 N. D St, Perris, Calif., in the Code Enforcement Office beginning Monday, July 6, 2020. Regular office hours for the newly relocated Animal Control Division remains Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and excludes legal Holidays. The Code Enforcement Division is responsible for performing field inspections of properties to ensure compliance with applicable building, zoning, safety, nuisance codes and ordinances. Code Enforcement Officers conduct both proactive and reactive inspections of property to insure compliance with these standards. It is the goal of the Code Enforcement Division through public education to direct your attention to any existing code violations, which could have a negative impact on your property, neighborhood and the City of Perris as a whole.

There are many ways to report a concern:

• Download and complete a Complaint Form.
• NON- Emergency concerns can be submitted via the City of Perris app (Apple and Android).
• E-mail complaints to the City of Perris Code Enforcement.
• Send a letter or an inspection request form to our office explaining the problem.
• Call Code Enforcement directly at (951) 385-4131.

The City of Perris services residents within the City limits only. Riverside County provides services for the unincorporated area, even if a resident’s address is in Perris. If a house address has four or less digits, it is within the City’s jurisdiction, but five digits is the jurisdiction of the County. The Riverside County Animal Control can be reached at (951) 358-7387.

Community Services Recreation Administration provides leadership, management, and coordination for the varied Community Services programs aimed at enhancing the "Quality of Life" for all residents of the City of Perris through recreation, sports, leisure, cultural and educational activities.

TEMPORARY USE PERMIT FOR OUTDOOR HAIR SALON AND BARBERSHOPS

Outdoor & Sidewalk Dining Temporary Use Permit

In order to encourage Perris residents to exhibit best practices that reduce the spread of COVID-19, the City will waive all online water processing fees for residents who receive services through the City Utility District effective Monday March 16, 2020. Online Payments will be accepted via credit cards on the city’s website. Please contact the City’s Finance Department at (951) 435-7211 or utility_billing@cityofperris.org. 

Payments can be made via check or cash during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6  p.m. and placed in the drop box near the double doors in front of the water fountain or next to the east employee/public entrance ramp. After hours payments can be placed in the drop box outside of the Finance Department, across from Development Services.
